  • Sharon Donnelly

    President

    Sharon is a registered nurse and a Certified Case Manager (CCM). She has volunteered with several outreach organizations including The Everywhere Project and Prevention Point working to meet the needs of several high-risk populations including individuals with Substance Use Disorder (SUD).

    Sharon has personal experience in navigating the healthcare system in partnership with her son, Teddy, as he worked to find and utilize resources for treatment of SUD and anxiety. Through these experiences, including losing Teddy to an accidental fentanyl overdose, Sharon has gained a deeper understanding of the challenges and lack of resources available for individuals with SUD.

  • Alicia Kradzinski

    Vice President

    Alicia is a Medical Professional Liability Broker at Aon, working in the healthcare industry with a variety of clients, including large health systems, behavioral health facilities and miscellaneous medical facilities. She is also the co-leader of Aon Philadelphia’s Community Engagement Committee - encouraging colleague engagement & participation in various volunteer opportunities.

    Alicia is a Registered Yoga Teacher, completing her 200 Hour training in 2021. Her personal experience with yoga and managing anxiety has opened her eyes to the lack of resources available for mental health treatment.

    Alicia holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Risk Management and Insurance.

  • Mike Bennett

    Director of Finance / Treasurer

    Mike is the operator and part owner of Backyard Eats LLC, a full service food gardening company where he actively manages the accounts and finances. Previously, Mike has worked at Wilmington Trust Investments and BQ Basement Systems.

    Mike earned a finance degree from Widener University, and is a 200-hour certified yoga teacher. In addition, Mike is actively in long-term recovery and participates in various forms of yoga and healing in the Philadelphia Area. Finally, Mike is a member and manager of Apple Juice Jones, Teddy’s long time band and creative project.

  • Matt Nestor

    Director of Communications / Secretary

    Matt Nestor is a writer, editor, and public relations professional in the Philadelphia area. Throughout his career, he has communicated on behalf of organizations and their leaders in technology, media, and higher education.

    Once a music critic and journalist, he is today a drummer and improviser with Philadelphia band Apple Juice Jones. He believes strongly in music as a vehicle to heal, unite, and elevate. Matt holds a Bachelor of Arts in journalism from Penn State University.

  • Derek Smith

    Director of Recovery House Relations

    Derek is the owner and operator of POLR Sober Living, a NARR-certified, 22-bed men's sober living community located in the heart of Palm Beach County, FL. He is a licensed CRRA (Certified Recovery Residence Administrator). This work, combined with his own sobriety journey beginning in March 2019, has connected Derek well within the recovery community.

    Derek brings first-hand experience on what he believes is needed most for individuals in early recovery — and what will set them up for continued success.

  • Jeremy Frank

    Director of Clinical Education

    Dr. Jeremy Frank, oversees Jeremy Frank and Associates and is both a psychologist and certified alcohol and drug counselor. Jeremy served as the Coordinator of Campus Alcohol and Substance Awareness at Tuttleman Counseling Services at Temple University and the Assistant Director of Health and Counseling and the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. He has had positions at Drexel University, University of Pennsylvania, University of Florida, Hahnemann University, and Jefferson University. He also served on board of The Philadelphia Society of Clinical Psychologists and is an approved provider of clinical services within the National Basketball Players Association's (NBPA) Player Assistance and Anti Drug Program.

    With 31 years of continuous sobriety from alcohol, Jeremy brings personal and professional experience in evidence-based harm reduction intervention. He runs a weekly long term recovery group, harm reduction group, and both general and addiction-specific peer consultation groups.
